The iPhone 7
At long last, iPhone 7 is in market. Tim Cook took to the stage at the Bill Graham Civic in San Francisco and told, “We have created the world's most advanced smartphone - the best iPhone we have ever created. This is iPhone 7." Extended features of iPhone 7 that makes iPhone 7 different from other smartphones are briefly stated in this article.
Water resistant and Resilience:
The iPhone 7 is just as glossy as its forerunners, with the iconic rounded design returning for a third instalment with the same 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1mm frame as the iPhone 6S. It's lighter though at 138g, down from 143g on the 6S. Another plus point of iPhone 7 is it’s dust and water resistance, this possible due to IP67 protection bringing the iPhone 7 into line with the Samsung Galaxy S7. One can take this iPhone underwater for about 30 minutes and up to 1 meter deep.
No headphone jack:
The iPhone 7 make use of stereo speakers both at the top and bottom of the iPhone which specifies “increased dynamic range.” The iPhone 7 no longer feature a 3.5mm headphone jack an thus you’ll have to depend on a Lightning converter for your current headphones, or upgrade to a pair of Bluetooth ear buds. Instead of headphone jack Apple is including a pair of Lightning-connected (wired) Ear Pods in the box and a Lightning-converter for 3.5mm headphone plug. This results in a situation where one cannot charge the phone and listen to the music at the same time. Without headphone jack apple has improved wireless audio reporting W1 wireless chip (implemented in Air pods).
More processing power:
The iPhone 7 utilize A10 Fusion processor which is Apples most powerful processor ever. It’s a 64-bit quad-core processor that’s 40 per cent faster than the A9 in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Apple says it’s 120 times faster than the original iPhone. The processor also improves the iPhone 7 — it is 50 per cent faster than the A9. The battery is also the best ever compared to previous iPhones. The Cupertino Company says the new iPhone 7 will last 2 hours more than the iPhone 6S.
Dual Cameras:
Apple has overhauled its camera technology for the iPhone 7, bringing in a brand new 12MP sensor on the rear and upping the front-facing snapper from 5MP to a 7MP Face time HD offering. Network technologies used in iPhone 7 are GSM, CDMA, HSPA, EVDO, and LTE. Also this smartphone supports Near Field Communication (NFC). The iPhone 7 plus has same specifications as that of iPhone 7 with only difference in size.Latest Blog
